For Friday, February 9, our company received an invitation to hold a joint teleconference with ORLEN SA and ORLEN South SA, a national champion and energy multinational, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the supply of vegetable oils and UCO (used vegetable oil). The meeting was aimed at discussing the basics of the contractor’s purchasing needs and the offers MBF Group can offer for supply.

During the meeting, basic information on the demand and requirements for vegetable oils and UCO within the ORLEN Group was presented. General information about MBF Group and the products offered was presented. In addition, the current status of UCO purchases and planned activities within the ORLEN Group were discussed. The teleconference provided an important forum for both sides to better understand each other’s needs and opportunities, and to explore the potential for cooperation in vegetable oil supply and UCO. Due to the fact that ORLEN, as one of the leading companies in the fuel industry, has expressed interest in potential cooperation with the Issuer in the field of vegetable oil and UCO supplies, the Company has decided to immediately start the certification procedure required for the delivery of the above-mentioned oils. products. Sustainability certifications such as KZR (National Sustainability Seal), REDCERT (Renewable Energy Directive Certification) or ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) are important tools in the field of environmental awareness and corporate social responsibility. Having one of the above is a necessary criterion for starting cooperation with ORLEN.

  1. Acceptance in international markets: Having ISCC certification can make it easier to export products to countries that require proof of sustainable production.
  2. Increasing customer confidence: ISCC certification can build customer confidence in products, especially if there is a growing interest in ethical and sustainable shopping.
  3. Meeting regulatory requirements: In some jurisdictions, ISCC certification may be required to meet certain regulatory standards for biofuel production and use.

All of these certifications share the common goal of promoting sustainable economic development by minimizing negative environmental impacts, caring for the community and promoting the efficient use of natural resources. Obtaining them can bring a variety of benefits to both the company and its stakeholders, both in economic, social and environmental terms.
