The IRYDA+ X1 will make its debut at MSPO 2026

MBF Group is preparing the first presentation of the IRYDA+ X1 unmanned system in Poland and Europe. It will take place on 8 September 2026, during the opening day of the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce. For everyone who has been waiting for an official confirmation of the time and place of the project’s European debut, the company can now provide a specific date. IRYDA+ X1 will be presented at one of the most prestigious venues of the European defence industry.

The presentation has been scheduled as part of the National Scientific Conference entitled “Dual-Use Technologies as an Element of Strengthening National Defence and Economic Development”. The conference will take place on 8 September 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Lambda Hall of the Targi Kielce Congress Centre. It will therefore be held on the opening day of the exhibition, immediately before the official MSPO inauguration ceremony. In the programme for the first day, the event is listed as a national scientific conference with free admission.

The official organisers of the conference, as indicated in the MSPO 2026 programme, include:

The invitation addressed to our company confirms the broad academic, expert, industrial and pro-defence background involved in preparing the event. The combination of university expertise, security specialists and the organiser of MSPO enhances the importance of the conference and gives it a character extending far beyond a standard corporate presentation. The invitation extended to MBF Group to join such a distinguished and highly respected group—first as a participant in the discussion panel and subsequently as a speaker delivering a presentation devoted to the IRYDA+ X1 system—is a particular honour and distinction for the company. It is the result of consistent, day-to-day work carried out over recent months, without being distracted by sceptical opinions from people not directly involved in the project. MBF Group has focused on concrete actions, technological development, building partnerships and bringing IRYDA+ X1 to the stage of an actual demonstration. The opportunity to speak before such a representative academic, military and industrial audience confirms that the direction chosen by the company was the right one.

A debut at the heart of European defence

The International Defence Industry Exhibition will take place from 8 to 11 September 2026 and will once again bring together representatives of industry, armed forces, public administration, research institutes and international delegations. For the military sector, MSPO is a European showcase where the latest solutions are presented, business relations are developed and discussions concerning future defence programmes are conducted. This year’s edition will begin with a VIP day, and it is on that day that the announced conference and the presentation of the IRYDA+ X1 system will take place.

The presentation of the drone will therefore not take place during a closed meeting, a local demonstration or an event intended exclusively for invited project partners. The system will be presented during a conference held on the first day of one of the most important events for the European defence industry. The participants in the exhibition and its accompanying events will include people responsible for technological development, research, systems integration, project financing, national security and decisions concerning future procurement. This provides an opportunity to confront the project with the expectations of a highly demanding and professional audience.

The presentation will include participation in the conference programme, a speech devoted to IRYDA+ X1 and a discussion of the role of unmanned systems and dual-use technologies. MBF Group intends to present an actual system that is being developed and tested—not a mock-up, visualisation or project existing solely at the conceptual stage. The scope of the technical data disclosed will depend on the finally approved documentation, technology-protection requirements and joint arrangements with the technology partner. The most important objective, however, is to demonstrate to conference participants that IRYDA+ X1 is a real platform that has already completed a stage of technical work and demonstration in Türkiye.

“We have reached our current position also thanks to the consistently developed Polish-Turkish cooperation. In the case of the IRYDA+ X1 project, its foundation consists of the agreements concluded and the cooperation with Shark Aviation and its CEO, Mr Saban Abur, whose team is responsible for the technological and engineering aspects of the system. Our recent visit to Konya was also highly significant: it included a technical demonstration and numerous valuable meetings with representatives of local institutions, academia and business. I can assure you that we will continue to discover and benefit from the positive effects of this visit for a long time to come.”

Robert Krassowski, COO and Authorised Representative of the Management Board of MBF Group S.A.

The company is also considering the possibility of presenting more than one aircraft and supplementing the conference appearance with practical elements. Subject to obtaining all required aviation, organisational and security approvals, a demonstration of the system operating in a multi-platform configuration is being considered. At this stage, however, this is not yet a finally confirmed element of the MSPO programme and should not be regarded as certain. The priority remains the physical presence in Poland of complete reference systems suitable for professional static and technical presentations.

Objective: contracts and orders

Participation in the conference is an honour and an important distinction for both MBF Group and Shark Aviation, but both companies also regard it as a major business opportunity. MSPO should open the way to discussions with potential users, industrial partners, integrators, research institutions and entities interested in further demonstrations of the system. MBF Group’s objective is not limited to increasing the project’s visibility. The company intends to return from Kielce with agreements, orders or specific invitations to conduct further presentations in Poland, other European countries and markets outside Europe.

In addition to participating in the conference, the planned panel and the presentation of IRYDA+ X1, MBF Group representatives already have numerous meetings scheduled during MSPO 2026. The discussions will concern both the IRYDA+ project and other initiatives being developed by the company in the defence, technology and dual-use sectors. Due to MBF Group’s status as a publicly listed company, details of projects and arrangements that may constitute inside information or have a potential price-sensitive character will first be assessed in accordance with the company’s obligations under the Market Abuse Regulation. Where the relevant disclosure requirements are met, the market will be informed first through the appropriate stock-exchange report.

“The first public presentation of IRYDA+ X1 during MSPO 2026 is an important confirmation for MBF Group that the direction of development we have chosen was the right one. We want to present conference participants not only with the system itself, but also with the scale of our ambitions concerning its development, commercialisation and future presence in Poland and international markets. We are going to Kielce to establish concrete relationships and secure further demonstrations, agreements and orders. We want MSPO to become the beginning of the project’s next, much more business-oriented stage.”

Janusz Czarnecki, President of the Management Board of MBF Group S.A.

The scale of the progress achieved by MBF Group in just twelve months is particularly evident when compared with the previous edition of MSPO. During MSPO 2025, the company announced the launch of its military and unmanned-technology projects. One year later, it is returning to Kielce with a project that has completed its first stage of technical work and demonstration and is being prepared for its first presentation in Poland and Europe. This transition—from announcing a strategic direction to presenting a real system during a dedicated conference—demonstrates the pace at which the company is building its new capabilities.

MSPO 2026 will also provide an opportunity to meet people who have followed MBF Group’s development from the beginning, as well as those becoming acquainted with the company for the first time. We invite everyone who is already planning to visit Kielce, as well as those who have not previously considered attending this year’s exhibition. Admission to the conference is free, and its placement on the first day of the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to participate in the official debut of IRYDA+ X1. A special invitation is addressed to the shareholders of MBF Group S.A.—it will be another valuable opportunity to meet in person, exchange views and see how the company’s projects are developing.

The presentation of IRYDA+ X1 during MSPO 2026 may become one of the most important moments in the project’s history to date. The combination of the exhibition’s prestige, the importance of the conference, the presence of key professional communities and the opportunity to present an actual system creates exceptional conditions for launching the next stage of commercialisation. MBF Group will continue to provide information concerning the title of the presentation, the speakers, the scope of the presentation, the availability of the systems and any potential demonstration elements. On 8 September 2026 in Kielce, IRYDA+ X1 will be presented in Poland and Europe for the first time.
