MBF Group SA is strengthening its position in the European fertilizer and chemical raw materials market. New contracts for the supply of technical and clearing urea, concluded with partners in Germany and Poland, pave the way for the company to increase sales volumes and further expansion in the B- and C-class nitrogenous fertilizer segment. Thanks to the consistent implementation of its development strategy and the growing scale of its operations, MBF Group SA is building the foundation for long-term value growth. The ongoing contracts, diversification of markets and reporting transparency make the company an interesting entity from an investor perspective as well.
The company entered into a significant commercial contract in May 2025 with a reputable partner from Germany, which has been active in the chemical distribution market for more than 30 years. The contract covers the successive supply of 1,500 tons of technical granular urea with a nitrogen content of min. 46%, coated, packaged in big-bags of 1,000 kg. The product will be received from the warehouse in Wittenburg, Germany, on FCA terms, according to the current Incoterms.

The estimated value of the contract is €375,000 and assumes 100% prepayment before each delivery, which increases the security of the transaction and confirms trust between the parties. Product quality is documented with certificates, and each batch is invoiced separately. Deliveries are made in stages – with full control over logistics and deadlines.
The contract was preceded by a pilot test delivery with a volume of 120 tons, the positive performance of which confirmed the high technical parameters of the product and the organizational efficiency of the supplier. The decision to move to the full contract stage was a natural step in response to growing demand from end users.
The change of supply partner – from Czech to German – was prompted by the need for greater flexibility, better availability of goods and timely delivery of orders. The new warehouse in Germany provides a permanent loading point, facilitating fast and efficient fulfillment toward both Central Europe and the Baltics.
The contract for the supply of 1,500 tons of coated granular urea, concluded with a partner with more than 30 years of business history, provides MBF Group SA with access to stable distribution channels and confirms the company’s operational credibility in international relations. The relocation of operations from the Czech Republic to Wittenburg, Germany, enables faster order processing and better service for Central and Northern European customers, thanks to higher standards of availability and delivery organization.
Cooperation with Treeden Group and cleared urea market – new sales channels
In April 2025, MBF Group SA entered into a Master Cooperation Agreement with Treeden Group Sp. z o.o. – a logistics operator specializing in supply chain services on EU-Ukraine-Kazakhstan-China routes. The company has its own transshipment terminal and offers comprehensive services in warehousing and rail and road transportation, particularly for the chemical and agri-food sectors.
Under this agreement, in May 2025. The first sales order has been started, involving the delivery of 1,200 tons of technical urea with impurities of approx. 0,2%. The recipient is a contractor acquired directly by Treeden Group. The estimated value of the transaction is €324,000. Deliveries are made consecutively, according to the needs of the end customer.
Cleared urea – classified outside the Grade A standard – is used, among other things. in the processing industry, in the production of UF/MF resins, as a process component, and in less demanding agricultural applications. Its strengths include competitive pricing, local availability, and flexibility in packaging and logistical terms.
The start of real cooperation with Treeden Group has enabled MBF Group SA to enter a market segment where not only chemical quality but also efficient logistics and speed of delivery matter. The new partnership allows the company to leverage its own commercial potential and scale sales of billed urea toward Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. The conclusion of the Framework Agreement with Treeden Group enables diversification of sales of B- and C-grade urea, with logistical support in eastern directions, including Ukraine-Kazakhstan-China.
Cleared urea market in Europe – growing importance of class B and C products
The urea market in Europe is undergoing dynamic changes, related to both cost pressures in the industrial sector and growing demand for cheaper, more readily available nitrogen feedstocks. An increasingly important role is being played by the so-called. cleared urea – covering classes B and C – which finds applications outside the classic segment of AdBlue fertilizers or agricultural production.
Technical urea with a content of small impurities (e.g., 0.2-0.5%) can be successfully used in the production of urea-formaldehyde (UF) and melamine-formaldehyde (MF) resins, in the wood-based panel industry, building materials, as well as in purification and recycling processes. For these industries, it is not the Class A chemical purity that is crucial, but the predictability of supply, price stability and flexibility in logistics handling.
According to industry estimates, the share of cleared urea in the total volume of supplies increased by up to 25% in 2024 in some Central European countries. The main customers remain companies from Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Poland, where the industrial infrastructure also allows processing of products outside the premium class.
MBF Group SA is part of this trend, offering technical and cleared urea from several storage locations: Germany (Wittenburg), Lithuania (Kaunas), and Poland (Małaszewicze and Szczecin). With a broad product portfolio and off-the-shelf availability, the company flexibly meets the needs of industrial customers and intermediaries. Combined with full logistics support and customs clearance, MBF Group SA’s offering is in line with market expectations for the second half of 2025. Dynamic growth in the share of Class B and C products in the fertilizer and chemical feedstock market in 2024. indicates a change in customer preferences and an increase in demand for logistically and price flexible solutions.
Urea in non-agrochemical industry – new directions of application
Technical and accountable urea, in addition to its classic use in fertilizer and chemical synthesis, is finding increasing use in sectors such as building materials, paper, textiles and even cosmetics. More and more companies are looking to source engineered nitrogen for non-standard applications – including foam stabilization, coated paper production, refractory materials, and as an additive in industrial processes requiring pH buffering or formaldehyde binding.
MBF Group SA, as a supplier that is flexible and operates with multiple quality grades of urea (A, B, C), responds to these needs by offering products available from several warehouses under FCA or DAP conditions. The ability to deliver product with contaminants of up to 0.5% opens up new markets where laboratory purity is not required, but the economics of supply and reliability of the logistics chain are important. The company is developing partnerships with customers in specialized industries, offering technical support and selection of the right product variant for application needs.
MBF Group SA strategy for 2025 – higher volumes, new markets, partner logistics
MBF Group SA is pursuing a consistent development strategy in the fertilizer and chemical raw materials trading sector, with an emphasis on increasing volumes, diversifying supply sources and developing cooperation with logistics partners. In 2025, a key element of this strategy has become the integration of technical and accountable urea purchasing and sales channels in Central Europe.
The company currently operates from several transshipment and storage terminals located in Germany, Poland and Lithuania, enabling it to serve customers from different regions of the EU, including Germany, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia and the Baltic States. Through partnerships with experienced operators such as Treeden Group Sp. z o.o., MBF Group SA can offer comprehensive transportation solutions – by rail and road – that also include customs-logistics documentation and full control of the flow of goods.
In 2025, the company plans to further increase its monthly urea supply volumes – both Class A (for applications requiring the highest purity) and Classes B and C (for industry and technical production). Expansion into the markets of Scandinavia and Southeastern Europe is also being considered, where demand for lower grade nitrogen fertilizers is growing.
With a combination of market experience, operational flexibility and transparency in operations – MBF Group SA strengthens its position as a reference provider for demanding institutional customers. The company not only ensures the availability of goods and an efficient supply chain, but also adapts to the current pricing and operating conditions of the European market. The company is pursuing a strategy to increase volumes and expand its geographic presence through effective supply chain management, cooperation with logistics operators and diversification of the classes of nitrogen products offered.
