IRYDA+ X1 has reached TRL 7. The UAV platform is entering the commercialization phase

IRYDA+ X1 is an example of a project that, in a relatively short period of time, has evolved from a concept into an advanced technology platform, opening up new opportunities for the MBF Group and its partners in terms of development, international cooperation, and the commercialization of innovative solutions. A key achievement in recent weeks has been the completion of work on optimizing the guidance system. As part of field tests, a precision strike on a ground target was successfully carried out with an accuracy of approximately 1 meter. The system is capable of triggering a detonation at a height of 5 meters above the ground, ensuring an effective impact over an area with a diameter of 30 meters.

The company is in the final stages of its first round of financing aimed at developing its new technologies segment, and at the same time is carrying out a share capital increase, taking advantage of an attractive valuation. This is a period of exceptionally intensive work on building the value of technology projects and preparing them for market launch. One of the most important projects currently being carried out by the Company is the IRYDA+ X1 platform, which is being developed in collaboration with its Turkish technology partner, Shark Aviation Dynamics. The past few weeks have brought a series of landmark events that are setting the course for the project’s future development.

TRL 7 confirms the maturity of the technology

The most significant achievement in recent days is that the project has reached Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL 7), which signifies a demonstration of the system in an operational environment. For technologically advanced projects, this stage marks the transition from research and development to preparations for the implementation of the solution and its practical application. Reaching this level is the result of many months of collaboration between the teams at MBF Group S.A. and Shark Aviation Dynamics. For the entire project, this marks the beginning of its most dynamic phase of development.

At the same time, numerous tests of the platform were conducted, covering, among other things, the development of autonomy systems, control algorithms, telemetry, and resistance to interference. The solution’s open architecture allows for the gradual integration of new features without having to design the platform from scratch. As a result, the IRYDA+ X1 can evolve alongside technological advancements and the needs of future users. This approach significantly increases the potential for further growth of the entire family of platforms.

At the same time, the system’s operational parameters were confirmed, including, among others, swarm architecture, the ability for a single operator to coordinate multiple platforms, and the ability to operate in an environment without a GPS signal. The modular design allows for easy integration of additional hardware and software solutions. Scalability and the potential for further upgrades are among the project’s greatest strengths. As a result, IRYDA+ X1 is not a closed platform, but a system designed for long-term development.

From the presentation in Turkey to commercialization in Poland

We are currently counting down the days until the official unveiling of the system, which will take place in the first half of July in Turkey. That is where a complete technical description of the platform, the results of the work done so far, and the directions for the technology’s future development will be presented. The event will also provide an opportunity to meet with industry and institutional partners interested in collaborating on the next phases of the project. Immediately after the presentation ends, the first demonstration units will be shipped to Poland.

Warsaw will be the next stage in the project’s development. MBF Group S.A., in collaboration with Shark Aviation Dynamics, will begin presenting the technology to potential institutional users and undertaking activities related to the commercialization of the solution. At the same time, the company plans to participate in domestic and international industry events, conferences, and trade shows focused on modern aviation technologies and autonomous systems. The goal is to build awareness of the project both in Poland and in international markets.

Subsequent generations: X2, X3, and the Space line

From the very beginning, IRYDA+ X1 was designed as an open platform, enabling the development of future generations of the system. Discussions are already underway regarding future versions, tentatively designated X2 and X3, which are intended to expand the technological capabilities of the entire product family. One of the areas being explored is the application of expertise from the space sector, including, among other things, advanced telemetry, autonomous control systems, communication, and interference-resistant solutions. Development in this direction is intended to enable the construction of platforms that meet the future requirements of the autonomous technology market.

A key element of this strategy will be the transfer of knowledge and expertise to Poland. MBF Group S.A. plans to develop the project in collaboration with domestic academic and industrial communities, involving technical universities and technology partners. The Polish Industrial Lobby named after … also remains an important partner in building the national innovation ecosystem. Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski, led by Prof. abbreviation Dr. Paweł Soroka, Ph.D. The idea of collaboration between academia, industry, and entrepreneurs could become one of the pillars of the project’s further development and of the broader concept of building modern industrial capabilities in Poland, particularly in Central Industrial District 2 (COP2).

The IRYDA+ X1 project is part of MBF Group S.A.’s long-term strategy, which focuses on developing high-margin technology projects in collaboration with domestic and international partners. In the coming months, we will focus on expanding our technological capabilities, securing new partners, and developing subsequent versions of the platform in line with the rapid pace of change observed in the global market for autonomous systems. The solution’s open architecture makes it possible to gradually expand its capabilities as new technologies emerge. This is a development model that allows for building long-term value for the entire project.

The first round of financing, which is coming to an end, and the ongoing increase in share capital are part of the implementation of this strategy and are intended to support the further development of high-tech projects. MBF Group S.A. is set to embark on several important milestones: its debut in Turkey, the launch of its presentation in Poland, the development of next-generation platforms, and the expansion of its collaboration with industry and academic partners. The coming weeks are shaping up to be a period of intensive work on the further development of the IRYDA+ X1 project and its subsequent phases.
