In recent months, MBF Group S.A.’s communications have largely focused on technology projects, the UAV sector, and initiatives in the fields of security and the defense industry. These are areas with significant growth potential that could play a key role in building the company’s value in the future. At the same time, it is worth noting that MBF Group’s core business remains international wholesale trade, the development of commercial relationships, and the organization of product deliveries for the agricultural, food, chemical, and industrial sectors. It is this segment of the business that has served as the foundation upon which the company has built its position over the years.
Trade in raw materials and agricultural products remains a key pillar of our business
Every day, the MBF Group team communicates with manufacturers, suppliers, customers, and logistics partners in Poland and abroad. These activities include not only the sale of products currently in our portfolio, but also actively seeking new suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and organizing the entire logistics process. In many cases, the company acts as a commercial integrator, connecting manufacturers with end customers and ensuring that transactions are carried out smoothly. This type of business requires experience, market knowledge, and an extensive network of business contacts.
The fertilizer sector remains one of the MBF Group’s most important areas of operation. Our current product range includes, among other items, NPK fertilizers, ammonium nitrate, ammonium sulfate, potassium sulfate (SOP), phosphate fertilizers, and sulfur products used by farms and distributors in Poland and other European countries. The company works with both domestic and foreign manufacturers, offering various delivery and partnership models. The growing importance of food security and the need to increase agricultural production efficiency mean that the fertilizer sector remains one of the most promising segments of the commercial sector.
A broad product portfolio for agriculture, industry, and the food sector
At the same time, the company is expanding its operations in the trade of food products and plant-based raw materials. MBF Group offers, among other products, ICUMSA 45 white beet sugar, refined sunflower oil in retail packaging, as well as unrefined rapeseed and soybean oil for industrial use. Depending on customer needs, we can supply standard products as well as carry out private-label projects, allowing customers to sell products under their own brand. Thanks to its flexible approach, the company can handle both one-time orders and long-term supply programs.
Products for the chemical, transportation, and energy industries also make up a significant part of our product range. These include technical and agricultural urea of grades A and B, components for the production of AdBlue®, and certified AdBlue® intended for the automotive and logistics sectors. These products are supplied to industrial chemical manufacturers, distributors, fleet operators, and companies that use SCR exhaust emission reduction systems. High quality standards and the need to ensure uninterrupted supply make this a segment that requires particular organizational diligence.
MBF Group also trades in industrial raw materials, including high-purity technical sulfur and specialized components used by the chemical and fertilizer industries. The company is constantly exploring new import markets, logistics options, and potential suppliers that could enhance the competitiveness of its offerings in the European market. These initiatives are part of a long-term strategy to diversify our product portfolio and build stable relationships with our business partners.
Seasonal projects and one-time contracts as part of the business model
Given the nature of MBF Group’s business, the company’s product range is not a fixed catalog. In addition to our regular product lineup, we also regularly introduce seasonal items or products based on current market opportunities. This applies, among other things, to certain fertilizers, agricultural products, chemical raw materials, and industrial components, the availability and economic viability of which fluctuate with market conditions. As a result, some projects are carried out on an ongoing basis, while others occur periodically, sometimes generating significant sales volumes and affecting the company’s revenue in individual reporting periods.
The MBF Group’s business model also involves active participation in one-off projects aimed at bringing together the manufacturer, logistics provider, and end customer within the framework of a specific transaction. Such projects often involve products that are not part of the standard product line but address current market needs. Thanks to the experience it has gained in international trade, the company is able to quickly assess the potential of new products, evaluate logistical and commercial risks, and arrange deliveries for interested customers. Projects of this kind can have a significant impact on the scale of operations during a given period.
An example of the current development trend under consideration is the ongoing discussion regarding the supply of ethanol and ethyl alcohol for industrial, cosmetic, and chemical applications. MBF Group is in talks regarding a potential partnership with a Moldovan manufacturer concerning the sale and organization of shipments of fully denatured ethyl alcohol that meets European Union market requirements. According to the information provided, the product can be delivered in tankers with a capacity of approximately 30,000 liters, with the option of regular deliveries to Poland and other European countries. Quality parameters include an ethyl alcohol content of approximately 96.3% by volume and the use of so-called Euro-compliant in accordance with EU market requirements.
Despite the rapid growth of our technology projects, the MBF Group team is constantly working to secure new products, contracts, and business partners. This includes both expanding sales of products already in our portfolio and analyzing new opportunities emerging in the domestic and international markets. The company’s strategy calls for the simultaneous development of its commercial operations and new technological areas, with the aim of building value based on diversified revenue streams. As a result, MBF Group remains a company that is actively involved in both traditional international trade and projects that set new directions for the company’s development.
