Together with the company and its Shareholders, we are entering the next stage of development – a challenging and demanding one, but one that carries great potential. The company is determinedly expanding its high-tech business, focusing on unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) and countering aerial threats (C-UAS) solutions, as well as related dual-use technologies.
This direction of development is not a coincidence. This is a consequence of the strategy adopted for 2024-2026, in which one of the key goals is to enter the high-tech sector with a viable, measurable product and competence offering. Already, MBF Group SA can boast a series of signed agreements and initiated activities that prove that these are not mere declarations, but concrete projects implemented step by step.
Significantly, the company is about to face the signing of the most important agreement in the whole process – an agreement with the entity that, in addition to MBF Group SA and the Polish Industrial Lobby, named after the Polish President. Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski will act as leader of the consortium. This partner will bring unique design, engineering and military expertise to the joint operations, and details of its experience and personnel will be provided in the stock market report. For now, we can only reveal that the signing of this agreement will be a milestone in building a comprehensive technology platform of both national and international significance.
The foundation of the strategy – under the patronage of the Polish Industrial Lobby
MBF Group SA’s growth in the UAV and C-UAS sector rests on a solid foundation of substance and image. A key element of this foundation is the patronage agreement signed in July 2025 with the Polish Industrial Lobby named after him. Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski. This is an organization with a history of more than thirty years, whose goal is to promote the development and protection of Polish industry, as well as to strengthen the country’s economic sovereignty. PLP brings together civilian and military experts, engineers, scientists and business practitioners, which gives the projects under its auspices exceptional prestige and credibility.
Thanks to this partnership, MBF Group SA gains not only access to expertise, but also the right to use the PLP name and logo in information, promotional and tender materials. This cooperation includes substantive support, preparation of analyses, recommendations and expert reports, as well as PLP participation in advisory teams and industry events. The PLP’s patronage also provides strong support for the implementation of the Central Industrial District 2 (COP2) idea, in which modern unmanned technologies and anti-drone systems with civilian and military applications play an important role.
It is also important that the financing of projects arising from this cooperation is not just a distant prospect. MBF Group SA bases it on current commercial contracts, and is additionally considering joint acquisition of national and EU grants and funds from institutional and private investors. Combining PLP’s experience and contacts with MBF Group SA’s operational competence creates a unique synergy that accelerates the process from concept to implementation, while strengthening the company’s position in the dual-use technology sector.
Key technological directions and advantages of MBF Group SA
The agreements signed in recent months clearly define in which technological areas MBF Group SA intends to build its position. The backbone of the new activities are unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) of various classes, counter-drone systems (C-UAS), as well as autonomous mobile platforms – air, land and surface – that can find applications in logistics, technical inspection, environmental protection or rescue operations. In parallel, supporting technologies are being developed, such as advanced observation, photogrammetric, multispectral and sensory systems, as well as operational space management software.
This scope is reflected in the agreements already signed. In July 2025, an umbrella agreement was concluded with the Polish Industrial Lobby named after him. Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski, providing substantive, expert and image support for projects in the UAV and C-UAS sector. Then a framework agreement was signed with a Chinese company ZXZ(HZ) Innovation Tech Co. Ltd. (Spider-i UAV), including development and testing of unmanned systems, anti-drone technology, autonomous platforms and software integration. The next step was an agreement with an Indian company Aerobot Avionics Technologies Company, Ltd, for the joint design and implementation of UAV platforms, C-UAS, and photogrammetric and sensor solutions. In August, a letter of intent was signed with the Polish Binary Helix SA on the formation of a technology consortium for dual-use projects, as well as a framework agreement with Shenzhen SMD UAV Co., Ltd. – a leading manufacturer of VTOL drones and flight control systems.
MBF Group SA’s advantage is that all of these agreements have a clear purpose: to prepare for a final consortium agreement in which MBF Group SA and PLP will serve as leaders. The company combines the competencies of international manufacturers, integrators and R&D centers in a single plan, which allows it to offer complete solutions – from design to production to implementation – for both the civilian and military markets.
From plans to implementations – how we differ from most
In the world of new technologies, many projects end up with ambitious announcements that remain in the concept stage for years. MBF Group SA took a different path from the beginning – instead of talking about potential, it immediately started real actions that lead to implementations.
The difference can also be seen in finances. After the second quarter of 2025, MBF Group SA boasted a net profit of more than 500,000, one of the best results in the company’s history. This result confirms that the company has a stable financial base to invest in technological development without having to halt current operations. Moreover, new projects in the UAV and C-UAS sectors are being carried out in parallel with existing commercial contracts in the raw materials industry, demonstrating operational flexibility and the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of activities.
With this approach, MBF Group SA is one of the few in the industry that can realistically combine vision with practice. Projects do not wait in line for funding – they are included in the company’s business plan and have clearly defined milestones. It is this ability to move from plans to action that is one of MBF Group SA’s most important differentiators from its competitors today.
Construction of the consortium – preparation stage and next partners
The formation of a technology and industry consortium led by MBF Group SA and the Polish Industrial Lobby is a process that was planned from the beginning as a multi-stage one. Already, several partners from different market segments have joined the project, representing both manufacturing and engineering and R&D competencies. Each brings unique expertise to the joint structure – from designing unmanned platforms, to developing anti-drone systems, to developing sensory, photogrammetric and control software solutions.
The preparatory stage now includes clarifying roles, tasks and how to integrate the various technologies into a coherent final product. The framework agreements in place define the principles of confidentiality, loyalty and protection of business contacts, which ensures a secure environment for cooperation and information exchange. At the same time, work is underway on the schedule of pilot projects, which, once the final consortium agreement is signed, will be able to start without undue delay.
MBF Group SA’s goal is to build such a structure that will be able to carry out projects not only for the domestic market, but also internationally. By combining the competencies of Polish and foreign partners, the consortium has the potential to become one of the most comprehensive platforms in the UAV and C-UAS sector in this part of Europe. This is an ambitious goal, but the pace of work so far shows that the company is consistently moving in this direction.
The most important step ahead – the third consortium leader
Although MBF Group SA already has a series of important agreements in place, the company is facing an event that could become a turning point in the entire project. In the near future, it is planned to sign an agreement with a key player, alongside MBF Group SA and Polskie Lobby Przemysłowy im. Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski will assume the role of third consortium leader. It will be a national partner tasked with bringing to the joint venture unique competencies in design, engineering and systems integration, as well as know-how gained in the military environment.
Cooperation with such an entity will open the way for projects of even higher technical and operational complexity. His experience working with dual-use technologies, including in environments requiring the highest levels of security and reliability, will be an important addition to the expertise already present in the consortium. This will enable an even smoother transition from the conceptual phase to deployments, as well as increase the chances of winning defense contracts.
Details of this agreement, along with a full description of the partner’s experience and the profiles of the managers, including qualified military officers, will not be disclosed until the stock exchange report. However, it can already be said that this will be one of the most important moments in the construction of MBF Group SA’s international technology platform, based on the cooperation of experts from Poland and abroad.
Summary and outlook
All these activities have a common goal – to create a consortium capable of implementing complex projects in the field of UAV, C-UAS and dual-use technologies, both in Poland and in foreign markets.
What is particularly important is that growth in the new sector does not come at the expense of existing operations. The company maintains a strong position in the international trade of raw materials, as evidenced by the financial result after the second quarter of 2025 – more than 500 thousand zlotys in net profit. A stable financial position provides the opportunity to finance technology projects from its own resources, as well as to flexibly raise additional capital.
In the near term, a key development will be the signing of an agreement with a third consortium leader – a partner who will strengthen the project with his design, engineering and military experience. This agreement, in addition to the contracts already in place, will pave the way for the start of the first pilot projects and participation in major bidding procedures.
The company wants to prove that it can combine vision with action. The next stages of consortium building and technology implementation will not only confirm the adopted strategy, but also prove that the company is ready to play a leading role in shaping the modern market for unmanned and anti-drone systems in Poland and Europe.
